Description
Prepare for a historic 2026! Established in 2018 ahead of the 250th anniversary of the Declaration of Independence, the SC Sestercentennial Commission has been hard at work. Come hear Bill Davies, active on the commission and a part time Edisto resident, speak. He will cover the goals of the commission, the role of SC in the Revolutionary War and the partnership with The Liberty Trail. He will also let us know about projects, sites and upcoming events. The commission plans on staying active through 2033 and continue to focus on SC's role in forming this Nation.
As usual, we gather at 6:00 to visit together and the meeting runs from 6:30-8:00. Visitors to Edisto are welcome.
