Edisto GOP Monthly Meeting - Legislative Advocacy 101

Description

The SC General Assembly only meets from 1/13-5/7.  2026 is the 2nd of a two year cycle.  BIlls stuck in committee need attention NOW.  How do bills of interest get advanced?  What bills (topics) concern you?  Come hear Jill Swing, President of SC Compassionate Care Alliance and longtime advocate in Columbia lead a discussion on advocacy techniques.  

Recent candidates that have reached out to visit are Paul Dans for US Senate, Mike Burhkold for Comptroller General, and for US Congressional District 1:  Alex Pelbath and Dr. Sam McCown.
