The concert is free with a donation of a non-perishable food item or monetary contribution made at the event to benefit the Edisto Island Food Bank. Collection points for food items or monetary donations will be on site at Bay Creek Park the night of the concert.

Chris McDaniel and Band in Concert at Bay Creek Park Saturday, July 2, 2022 to benefit Edisto Island Food Bank Chris McDaniel -formerly with Confederate Railroad- brings his band to Edisto Beach this summer in celebration of Independence Day with a country music concert at Bay Creek Park, Saturday night, July 2, 2022. The concert begins at 7:00pm and will end by 9:00pm.
What to Bring
Bring your own refreshments (sandwiches, snacks, drinks). Bottled water will be available at the ‘gate’ for a suggested donation of $1.00 per bottle but no concessions will be provided at the concert. Polystyrene (styrofoam) coolers and glass bottles are prohibited -in the park or on the beach- as well as alcohol at the concert.
Bring your own seating. You may bring and use any form of portable chair you wish. You may choose to sit on a blanket spread over the ground or simply relax on the grass itself.
Sponsorship
The concert is sponsored by Edisto Beach Baptist Church (413 Jungle Road, Edisto Beach). Chris and band will be in concert at the Church, Sunday, July 3 (10:00am). The concert is followed by BBQ in the church’s fellowship center afterward. You are invited to that event as well. Contact the Church office for more info (843.869.2662).
