SUMMARY:Mutts & Putts Golf Fore Rescue
DESCRIPTION:The Plantation Course at Edisto and Ella & Ollie's will be hosting our 4th Annual Mutts & Putts ~ Golf Fore Rescue charity tournament to benefit the Animal Lovers of Edisto Canine Rescue!\n\n \n\nAnimal Lovers of Edisto rescues stray dogs in the Edisto Island area and also partners with neighboring Colleton County to provide shelter\, food\, vet care\, and most importantly\, love until the dogs are healthy and socialized enough to be adopted to a loving home.  All of the rescues receive veterinary care\, including an initial exam\, vaccinations and spay/neuter surgery\, but many have additional healthcare needs that might require medications\, treatment for heartworms and sometimes even surgery. Animal Lovers of Edisto also provides community outreach and volunteers always work hard to help locals and tourists find lost pets in our community.\n\nAnimal Lovers of Edisto depends solely on donations and volunteers to keep the organization going.\n\nAnimal Lovers of Edisto adopted out 33 dogs as of August 2023. In 2022 a total of 42 dogs found their Furever Families! They have also reunited many lost dogs with their owners.
