DESCRIPTION:The James Jamerson Tribute is being held on Edisto Island this year. Jamerson was born on Edisto\, was a member of New 1st Missionary Baptist Church\, and was bassist for the Funk Brothers\, the band that backed Motown. This dynamic stage show will consist of a live band along with singers and dancers performing some of Motown's greatest hits. We ask for your generous monetary donations to help us to underwrite this program honoring our very own hometown Motown Legend\, James Jamerson.
